Marketing Director - Demand Generation
Location: McLean, VA/Remote
Reports to: Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)
Position Summary
BluLogix is a leader in subscription billing management and is looking for an all-round marketing leader who wants to take the company and their career to the next level.
We are looking for a marketing leader with strong all-round marketing chops, but experience in planning, coordinating and executing integrated demand generation campaigns is what sets you apart. As an all-rounder, you combine a creative and scientific approach to demand generation. Your creative side enjoys working out how people think and how our messaging can impact their behavior; while your scientific side thrives on the data and the inputs and outputs; ensuring that we are doing enough of the right things at the right time to drive pipeline and revenue for the company.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all of BluLogix’ marketing programs and budget
- You will own the lead generation strategies for BluLogix, including content marketing, email, PPC, third party digital, SEO, events, webinars, direct mail, and other outbound marketing strategies
- You will be responsible for marketing’s contribution to the company pipeline
- Work with other internal and external groups including (but not limited to) sales, external agencies, customer success and product to develop messaging, campaigns tactics that build pipeline
- Own all lead generation aspects of the website to optimize our owned web properties for inbound marketing lead generation, SEO and conversion
- Own paid search activities, primarily focused on Google Adwords and LinkedIn
- Coordinate organic social media marketing activities
- Work closely with the sales teams to ensure timely follow-up and conversion and ensure that well-qualified leads are delivered to sales
- Analyze results of attribution, conversion and pipeline sourcing reports to optimize strategies and report up those observations to executive leadership; pushing forward next steps at a fast pace
- Own and manage all reporting, including program costs and cost-per-lead
What You Bring to BluLogix
- Proven track record of building successful lead generation and funnel management for SaaS/software companies; strong accountability for generating pipeline/revenue — not just leads!
- Exceptional project management skills and an eye for detail
- A strategic mindset and a natural leader but with a willingness (and desire) to get your hands dirty ‘in the weeds’ when necessary
- An unquestionable work ethic
- A curious mind and a ‘growth mindset’
- Experience of an appreciation of ‘the buyers journey’ and the role of content to nurture prospects
- Understanding of demand generation reporting and KPIs to track campaign and tactics effectiveness
- Hubspot experience a significant benefit
- Account based marketing (ABM) experience would be a big plus
- Great writing and copy-editing skills
- Great presentation and communication skills
