In their telematics solution, HED deals with volumes of equipment data and data considerations, such as cellular transmissions and over-air data, portal visualizations, custom algorithms, applications, storage, and much more. HED had attempted to provide service improvements to customers via a more “home-grown” approach based on existing technology but encountered challenges in collecting, managing and
processing the disparate data across the business. HED also encountered challenges with keeping up-to-date on key monetization functions, such as managing subscriptions,
renewals related to subscription traceability, renewal foresight/dunning, reporting, tracking IDs and inventory, and so on.
